I just sketch down the story as it comes to me, sometimes in more detail and sometimes less, so I have a general guideline to go by once my characters are created. My outlines ...I can't write without an outline. My outlines are loose, a few words to show what's going to happen in a chapter and thats' it. Everything else is free-written.
