Happy Mother's Day

It feels weird being an orphan on Mother's Day. Actually, I'm not sure how it feels, but I'm not going to dwell on it. Wish your mom a happy Mother's Day from me to her, my mother would appreciate that.

Thank you.

  3. Hi Elizabeth, I am sorry. I know a little how you feel. This has been a very sad day for me for the past 18 years. My mother died in 1992 while I was away in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Spain... I also lost my dad when I was 16. He has been gone now for 29 years. For some reason I do not know, this Mother's Day has been harder for me than usual.

  6. Elizabeth,

This is the first Mother's Day I've been able to spend with my mother for years (they've just moved here from the east). We didn't do much, just met for brunch and we chatted for three hours. It was wonderful. When I read your blog it made me so grateful and I'll tell her about you.

My heart goes out to you m'dear. Hugs.
