Yes Dorothy, there is a Christ

I know some of you don't believe in God, the Holy Ghost, and Jesus Christ. I'm not a Bible thumper by far, but people worry me.

On Fox this morning, they interviewed a woman, and atheist, who flat out said, "People need to know there is no God." I miss-quote, but it was that blunt. I had to shake my head. How is it that we didn't know this? I've gone through my entire life believing in a lie. But wait, so have others, so many others. We've all been wrong and it took one woman to bring the myth to light.

My first thought, was, "She must have been tramatized as a child when she found out there was no Santa Clause.

It seems to me, that since the world is in such a mess, people have been turning a little more to God. I don't begrudge this woman her views, in fact I hope she spreads the word high and low. It's not a new belief, or disbelief, but this kind of message is a two edged sword and I think it touches something so base,in me anyway, that triggers a defiance and brings me closer to God. If I'm doing it, so are others.

If I don't talk to you later, I wish you all a wonderful Christmas, and God Bless.

  1. I am not religious. I don't believe in organized relision, but I am deeply spiritual. This woman on Fox News (where else?) may not believe in God, but she can't stop God from believing in her. I'm sorry she will miss out on so much of the beauty of this season. It is her choice. We can only hope and pray that we are not wrong in our beliefs.

  3. I believe in God (my God... someone up there...) and I'm catholic, but I am very very anticlerical. That means I hate Vatican, priests and everyone that speaks in the name of God and is a bigger sinner than anyone else on this earth... anyway... that was not the point. My mum is a believer (not a very strong one though), my father is agnostic. That means I was used to people thinking differently about this subject. I think everyone has a right to believe or not to, but the sentence "People need to know there is no God"... how does she know? Has she been for a walk in the "other world" and chatting with a passer by, did she ask?... What the hell? Why is everyone religious or atheist trying to make people think the way they do? Good God! :-D

  5. I can't help but wonder how so many miracles happened, if there is no God. How have there been so many (billions!) accidental births, each child so much like all the others... accidentally? Yet, we are all basically the same; two eyes, two arms, feet, heart, etc.

Thank goodness He believed in us so we could be here! Merry Christmas! May the joys of the season be yours in abundance. ~ Just Joany
